While the club has evolved from its earlier years of large-scale boating events, it remains an active and welcoming part of the BHVA community—now centered on connection, tradition, and simple enjoyment of the lake and one another.

 

Signature gatherings include our well-attended Welcome Back Brunch each spring at the Canandaigua Yacht Club, our festive Octoberfeast in the fall, and a spirited Holiday Party in December. These events continue to bring members together with shared meals, laughter, and familiar traditions.

 

In recent years, we’ve added more casual and accessible activities for all interests, including kayak excursions on nearby quiet waters, full moon paddles on Canandaigua Lake, and relaxed outdoor movie nights.

 

Boat ownership is not required—just an interest in being part of a friendly, easygoing community.
